Deposit Requirements:Upon booking with Joey Jumpers Event Hire, a non-refundable security deposit of $50 is required to secure your reservation. This deposit may be refunded in full under the following circumstances:

  • Joey Jumpers cancels the booking due to unsafe weather conditions or restrictions from our insurance coverage.
  • Joey Jumpers cancels for any other reason.
  • The customer provides a minimum of 21 days' notice for cancellation.

Non-Refundable Situations: No refunds will be issued in the following cases:

  • The customer changes their mind.
  • The customer falls unwell, including due to COVID-19.
  • The customer has scheduling conflicts or alternative arrangements.
  • Last-minute cancellations.

Setup Constraints: No refund will be provided if Joey Jumpers staff arrive at the location and find that the jumping castle cannot be set up due to space constraints.

Full Payment Obligations: Full payment is required in the following situations:

  • If the customer cancels after Joey Jumpers staff have arrived at the location and commenced setup.
  • If the customer cancels because the jumping castle does not fit in the designated area after setup has begun or been completed, the cancellation will be considered the customer's responsibility.
  • If the jumping castle does not fit in the designated area upon the arrival of George Jumpers staff, preventing the booking from proceeding, the responsibility lies with the customer.
  • If Joey Jumpers advises against proceeding due to inclement weather and the customer chooses to continue, leading to the need for staff to return to retrieve equipment, or if the equipment cannot be fully utilised due to weather conditions.
  • Can the jumping castle be set up on a slope?

Whilst we recommend that the jumping castle is set up on a flat surface for safety and stability, a very slight slope may be acceptable, It is important to discuss any slope concerns prior to your booking. During the booking process, our team will contact you to discuss the set up details in more depth if the slope is of concern, we may also suggest to send through a photo of the permitted area or request for one of our team members to come out to investigate if it is suitable for a safe installation.

  • What surface can the jumping castle be set up on?

    Jumping castles can be set up on a variety of surfaces including the following, grass, concrete, pavement and synthetic turf.

  • Can the jumping castle be set up on half grass, half concrete?

    Yes, the jumping castle can be set up on a surface that is half grass and half concrete. For optimal stability, we use weights on the concrete side and steel pegs on the grass side to secure the equipment properly. It is essential to ensure both areas are stable and safe for use.
